    Episode 74 saw the return of Boss Hog of Liberty fan's favorite guest, Economics professor, Steve Horwitz. Steve stopped by to talk to the guys about the current political climate on college campuses. Starting first the decision to remove John "Papa John" Schnatter's name from his building and professorship. Steve and Jeremiah talked about the use of language in today's world, and the reasoning behind Ball State University's decision.

    Purdue Freshman, Mason Rottinghaus called in to tell the guys about his experience in the auditorium during Andy Gross's performance. The crew delves into the specifics of the "outrage" by Purdue students and asks whether or not this is a case of 21st century manufactured outrage. Chase Peyton asks Mason about his first impressions on campus, and Steve gives his insight as a professor.

    Finally, they discuss the supposed morality of shopping local vs. purchasing from a big box store. Steve does what he does best and breaks down the logistics of the scenario.     In this episode of Boss Hog of Liberty, Dakota and Jeremiah are joined by Craig Armstrong of Armstrong Farms, and Mark Wenning. Both are farmers in Henry County, Indiana and have a lot of information to share about the current issues facing the people that feed our nation. We talk about the history both have had in the farming industy and the future that they see coming. Craig shared some interesting facts about all of the products that soybeans are a part of.

    Dakota delves deep into the history of tariffs and their role/previous roles in the United States economy. There is a lot of information to be learned and history helps to develop a more well rounded view for 21st century politics. Craig and Mark answer questions about what they believe the effects these tarrifs will have on their family farms.

    Lastly, the crew discusses how farmers can diversify their operations in uncertain times like these. Options are out there, but they are not without controversy. Craig has been outspoken in his support of Industrial Wind Turbines and answers why he believes they will be good for America and Henry County.

    This week on the show, the crew is joined by Lee Marcum. The owner of the nations greatest doughnut chain, Jack's Donuts. Jack's has been a staple in the the New Castle community for decades, but under Lee's leadership has been shaking up the doughnut game accross the state and accross the country. Lee explains what it takes to build up a business like he has and discusses the future of Jack's

    The guys also spent some time talking about the shell building in Henry County, Indiana. There are 25 shell buildings accross the state of Indiana and thousands more accross the country. Dakota talked to Corey Murphy from the Henry County Economic Development Corporation about the uses of the Shell Building and the specifics behind its purpose.

    Finally, they talked a little bit about the impact that social media has had on the world of politics. digging into the use of Twitter and Facebook by elected officials and candidates seeking office. The four discuss the benefits that have come along with it's rise, and the apparent downfalls as well.

    Kandice adapted the story into a play, which then led to a movie Catherine. It was produced, shot, and acted with local talent. We talk about how you make it happen, and Eldon tells us what he thinks actually happened.
